Children Mental Development Taekwondo Class Program

Course Objectives

Course objectives Combining mental stimulating movement techniques into traditional Taekwondo training, the course not only focuses on the discipline of the class but also emphasizes the importance of mental and physical development, strengthening both the body and the mind of the students and last but not least self-defense knowledge.

Course Outline

  1. Introduce martial arts spirit of respect
  2. Develop a habit of healthy exercise
  3. Comprise of basic Taekwondo movements including poomsae and sparring motions
  4. Enhance the stamina level through games, the course strived to strengthen the flexibility, hand-eye coordination, agility, explosive powers, muscle strength and lung capacity of the students.


Mandarin

We believe each child is unique with special strengths. At Garden House we strive to create a secure and nurturing environment that encourages young children to experiment, promotes curiosity and fosters an enthusiasm for life-long learning. Expose your 3 year olds to Mandarin and familiarize them with the interesting sounds and characters at an early age! Learn words and phrases by singing songs, reciting rhymes, listening to stories, playing games, art and crafts and storytelling. Easy and fun!

Ballet
Ballet (by EM'S DANCE & ART)

Mommy & Me Ballet – (20mths+)
9:45am – 10:30am Tuesdays

This program gives Mum (Daddy or helpers) an opportunity to join in and share their child’s experience. The classes explore your child’s imagination by using props and dancing to music. Through movements, their coordination of gross motor skill will be trained.

Little Ballerinas - (3-4 years old)
2:45pm – 3:30pm Tuesdays,
2:45pm – 3:30pm Thursdays,
2:45pm – 3:30pm Fridays

Ballet is creative and imaginative form of movement fostering confidence and self-awareness. We put emphasis on fun with training of coordination, imagination, musicality and discipline. It also provides a good chance for children to make friends and to encourage their still of teamwork. Students are also recommended to enroll annual ballet assessments of RAD.

Ballerina Pre-Primary – (5 years old or above)
3:45pm – 4:30pm Tuesdays,
3:30pm – 4:15pm Thursdays

The technique of classical ballet, base on RAD syllabus, in particular, achieve better coordination, strength, flexibility a sense of space, strong carriage of the body and the ability to shape bodes to express oneself with grace. Our ballet training is affordable and welcoming to young people of all ethnic groups and backgrounds. Students are also recommended to enroll annual ballet examination of RAD.

Ballerinas Primary - (6 years old or above)
4:30pm – 5:15pm

Children Jazz - (6 years old or above)
5:15pm – 6:00pm

Dance in a strong rhythmic and popular songs. It can strengthen students limbs and build their agility, and is also a fun way of exercising! Classes taught by registered teacher. Student are also recommended to enroll annual Jazz examination of ATOD/ CSTD.
