Garden House Farm

Teachers and students at Garden House farm, learning about gardening and observing the growth of vegetables.

Garden House is fortunate to have a 1,000 sq metre farm and garden located just minutes away from our campus in Sai Kung. This bountiful land produces vegetables and fruits that are used in our school's kitchen.

Through the farm and garden program, children learn valuable skills that are often lost in today's industrialized society. They have the opportunity to tend to the soil, compost, plant, harvest, care for animals, and learn about the natural world around them.

Younger children play and explore on the farm, while older students engage in more advanced activities such as plant propagation and the study of healing plants. They also learn about nutrition through cooking, drying, and processing food.

We are deeply committed to preserving and maintaining the farm, a commitment that has been affirmed since 2009. Our goal is to provide a meaningful and enriching experience for our students, while also instilling a sense of responsibility and respect for the land.
